CAVS Renewal – January 2026
As a courtesy, The Beryl Institute is extending a temporary grace period for CAVS renewal due to a system transition that may have impacted renewal communications.
To avoid late renewal fees, you must complete all requirements and renew no later than April 30, 2026.
Before submitting your renewal payment, confirm you have earned 30 total eligible credits during your three-year renewal period.
If you have not completed 30 credits by your expiration date, you may continue earning credits through January 30, 2027 (late fees apply), or you may choose to re-take and pass the CAVS exam to maintain your designation.
Renewal fee & timing
Expiration: January 30, 2026
Standard renewal fee: $225
Renewal is not complete until payment is received and processed.
Late fee schedule
April 30, 2026: No late fee
May 1, 2026 – July 30, 2026: $50 late fee (total $275)
6–12 months after expiration (July 31, 2026 – January 30, 2027): $100 late fee (total $325)
More than 12 months after expiration (after January 30, 2027): Re-examination is required to renew the designation
If your organization is paying your renewal fee, select “Bill Me” to generate a PDF invoice. Renewal applications cannot be processed until payment is received.
