CAVS Renewal – July 2026
Before submitting your renewal payment, confirm you have earned 30 total eligible credits during your three-year renewal period.
If you have not completed 30 credits by your expiration date, you may continue earning credits through July 30, 2027 (late fees apply), or you may choose to re-take and pass the CAVS exam to maintain your designation.
Renewal fee & timing
Expiration: July 30, 2026
Standard renewal fee: $225
Renewal is not complete until payment is received and processed.
Late fee schedule
Up to 30 days after expiration (August 30, 2026): No late fee
30 days–6 months after expiration (August 31, 2026 - January 30, 2027): $50 late fee (total $275)
6–12 months after expiration (January 31-July 30, 2027): $100 late fee (total $325)
More than 12 months after expiration (after July 30, 2027): Re-examination is required to renew the designation
If your organization is paying your renewal fee, select “Bill Me” to generate a PDF invoice. Renewal applications cannot be processed until payment is received.
