CPXP Exam Registration
The Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) credential is designed for professionals who lead and influence the systems, processes, and behaviors that cultivate positive experiences across the continuum of care. The CPXP designation is earned by successfully completing and passing the CPXP certification examination.
April 2026 CPXP Exam Timeline
- Application deadline: February 21
- Exam scheduling: Meazure Learning will email approved candidates in March with exam scheduling instructions.
- Testing window: April 1-30
You must complete the following steps before submitting your CPXP exam registration:
1. Review the CPXP Handbook
Download and review the CPXP Handbook in full. Acknowledgment of the Handbook is required as part of the CPXP certification application process.
2. Application Requirements
Log in to your Beryl Institute profile and confirm that the following information is complete and accurate:
- Your first and last name exactly match your legal ID (this will be required on exam day)
- Your billing address is complete and current (required for exam scheduling)
- Your resume/CV has been uploaded and clearly demonstrates experience leading, managing, or actively participating in patient experience improvement efforts.
How to update your profile:
- Click the person icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Access Your Account.
- Click Edit My Profile on the left-hand menu.
- Review and update your name and billing address.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Upload Files to upload your resume/CV.
- Click Save.
Applications submitted with incomplete information will delay approval for exam scheduling.
Submit Payment
- The $475 USD exam fee includes a $100 USD non-refundable application fee
Payment must be received by February 21 for your application to be approved and submitted for exam scheduling.
Application Review
All applications are reviewed for eligibility. Approval decisions are typically made within 30 days of submission. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval to sit for the examination. Approval notifications will be sent to the email address associated with your Institute profile.
