About the CPXP Exam:
The Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) exam is a computer-based assessment consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates may take the exam in person at a brick-and-mortar testing center or via an LOP (Live Online Proctoring) option for remote access.
The October 2025 exam window will run throughout the month of October, with exact testing dates scheduled directly with our testing partner, Meazure Learning. Candidates will receive additional instructions from The Credentialing Center once their registration has been approved.
Application Process:
Step 1: Register and Submit Payment
- Login and add your resume to your Beryl Institute profile (once saved it will be in your "files" on the admin side)
- To add resume, click "Edit Profile", scroll to the bottom and upload your resume and then save
- Register through the event link provided below.
- Ensure that your First and Last Name match your legal ID, as this will be required on exam day.
- Pay the $475 exam fee (includes a $100 non-refundable application fee).
- To have your organization pay, select “Bill Me” at checkout to generate an invoice. This invoice MUST be paid prior to August 21, 2025, to be submitted for scheduling.
Re-exam candidates: Use your Re-examination discount code in the “Coupon” field before completing payment. If you do not know or cannot find your code, please contact our Director Jessica Barker for assistance.
Step 2: Application Review and Approval
- Your application will be reviewed within 30 days of submission
- Approval emails will be sent via the email address attached to your portal account
