Registration for the April 2025 CPXP exam has now closed! We will begin accepting applications for the October 2025 CPXP window in May 2025. Please check back for more information.
The Certified Patient Experience Professional exam is a computer-based exam that consists of 150 multiple choice questions. The exam is offered in both a brick-and-mortar testing center near your or through an LOP option which is an online proctored exam.
The April 2025 CPXP exam is offered throughout the month of April and will be scheduled per the candidate's availability. Testing dates will be scheduled through our testing partner Meazure Learning starting in March 2025 and exam dates must be scheduled by March 31, 2025. Additional testing information will be sent from The Credentialing Center after exam registration has been approved.
The application process for the CPXP exam consists of 2 parts:
Step 1: Candidates will register through this event and submit the $475 for the exam fee (which contains a $100 non-refundable application fee). If applicants wish to have their organization submit payment for the exam, choosing the "Bill Me" option will allow an invoice to be generated that can be submitted for payment. Once that payment has been submitted, candidates will receive an email with the 2nd steps of the application process.
Candidates who are sitting for "Re-examination" should have received a discount code for the Re-examination rate. This code will be submitted in the "Coupon" box before checking out.
Step 2: Within 48 business hours, candidates will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your application and resume. Please ensure that the information submitted on your application is correct and that your First and Last Name match your legal government identification that will be used to access your exam on your scheduled date.
The application deadline for the April 2025 CPXP exam is February 21, 2025.
Late applications will be accepted through Tuesday February 25, 2025, at midnight EST. These applications are subject to a $50 late fee that will be added at the time of application and all fees MUST be paid at time of application.
